Waterfalls

Shiraito and Otodome Falls

The Shiraito and Otodome Waterfalls are two of the most beautiful and representative natural landscapes in the Mount Fuji region.

Shiraito, whose name means "white threads," is famous for its delicate waterfalls that cascade gently from a rock face, creating a tranquil and almost magical setting. It's a perfect place to relax, take photographs, and experience the purity of Japanese nature.

Meanwhile, Otodome Falls offers a completely different sight: a stronger, more powerful waterfall that exudes energy and movement. Its sound and force contrast with the tranquility of Shiraito, showcasing two distinct facets of natural beauty.

Sanctuaries

Arakura Fuji Sengen Jinja

The Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine is dedicated to the protection of Mount Fuji and the safety of the people who live near it. It is part of the "Sengen" network of shrines, which have been associated for centuries with the veneration of Fuji as a sacred mountain.

Historical monuments

Chureito Pagoda

The Chureito Pagoda is a five-story tower built as a monument to peace. It represents harmony, protection, and respect for life. Each of its levels has a meaning related to the elements of nature according to Japanese tradition.

It is famous because from its viewpoint you can get one of the most iconic views in Japan: the pagoda in the foreground and Mount Fuji in the background.

It is an ideal place to take photographs and enjoy a landscape that combines traditional Japanese architecture and nature.

During spring, with the cherry blossoms, and in autumn, with the colors of the momiji, the view becomes even more spectacular.
